Bromelain is derived from pineapple stems and is a natural digestive enzyme that aids in the breakdown of proteins, fats and carbohydrates which make these nutrients readily available for the body to use for energy, cell growth and other vital digestive functions.*

Enzyme activity in Bromelain is measured as: GDU Gelatin Digestion Units or MCU Milk Clotting Units.

1 GDU is equivalent to about 1.5 MCU.

Our Bromalain 2000 Extract contains a full 600 GDU per capsule. Three of our capsules contain 1800 GDU.
